Western Australia's Margaret River Region is one of the world's most successful locations for the production of high quality, premium wine. The Tintagel vineyard lies just south of the Margaret River town in a location offering rich gravelly soils and large stands of Karri and Marri trees. The vineyard enjoys both a beautiful setting and an ideal environment for the production of premium grapes with exceptional fruit flavour and varietal characteristics.

Tintagel is a family owned and operated wine producer established by the Westphal family in 1993. Boutique, premium quality wine is their focus. The customers are interested in wine that is special, flavoursome and uniquely well crafted.

The exceptional fruit flavour is due to the location and the cool maritime climate enjoyed by the southern region of Margaret River. Fruit from this region ripens some 2-3 weeks later than the northern Margaret River vineyards. More time on the vine and the overall cooler climate provides grapes with outstanding fruit characteristics sort after by the region winemakers.
